CMD Sisters Stella Maris Newsletter

The Sisters of the Mother of God (Mater Dei) are a traditional Catholic Religious Congregation dedicated to preserving and spreading the true Faith and assisting priests in the Catholic education of youth. Founded in 1993 by His Excellency Mark A. Pivarunas, CMRI, the Congregation provides women with an opportunity to strive for personal holiness through the observance of the simple vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience along with the observance of the Constitution and Rules of the Congregation. Their motherhouse is located in Persia, Iowa.

The Sisters’ apostolate is primarily Catholic education and parish work in churches around the country.  Please see their newsletter, Stella Maris, to read more about the work of the CMD Sisters. Click HERE to read their current edition.
